"Leaving a Legacy"

No, that doesn't mean it's time for you to go.

But sometimes the best way to "evaluate" the depth of a Chamber's performance is by watching what happens when one of its key staff leaders leaves.   Was the organization able to continue moving forward?  Had the members become too dependent on staff to do the work that volunteers should be doing?  Was the staff capable of helping make a smooth transition?

During this program, Mark Levin, CAE, CSP will give you a chance to look at the key elements of Chamber leadership that determine - long before your departure - what kind of a legacy you'll be leaving.  Included in the program will be: discussions on the importance of establishing effective systems; ways to plan for ongoing leadership succession programs; assuring the future growth of the Chamber; and a checklist against which you can evaluate where you and your Chamber stand now, and what you can do to make sure that the legacy you leave is one of success.
